  • Intelligent Land Investments (ILandI) approach to corporate social responsibility offers the Company real business benefits, in addition to delivering real tangible benefits to charity organisations that make a real difference and a positive impact on the local communities that we look to develop land within.

    It builds relationships

The Company gains the trust of clients, suppliers as well as local communities and local authorities. This impact positively on future development plans and makes our land development opportunities attractive to existing and potential clients and their friends and family.

    It improves reputation

Commitment to improve corporate social responsibility performance helps us to attract and retain employees. It also improves our reputation with clients, shareholders, lenders and opinion formers.

    It helps to reduce risk

It is important that clients want to invest in our land development opportunities; that local authorities take a positive view of proposed developments and that lenders are willing to offer finance to our clients.

ILandI donates 5% of its profits each year to charitable organisations.

      • For the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, ILandI has donated a “share” to their hospice and we will assist them through the whole process with our other clients and seek to achieve planning permission on the whole site at Glenboig.  The achievement of this goal will allow the hospice to benefit from the excellent potential returns that can assist them in the medium to long term to provide care for more individuals and families.

ILandI understands the power of giving, and the benefit it can bring people at their most difficult times, that is why ILandI made capital donations to the Asian Earthquake Appeal and Children with Cancer & Leukaemia appeals.   These values are not only present in our company ethos they are in our employees who regularly attend Charity Runs and events on behalf of ILandI.

The Ayrshire Hospice was established to enhance the quality of life of those who are suffering from advanced cancer or Motor Neurone Disease for whom cure is no longer possible, as well as support for families facing the loss of a loved one.

St Andrew’s Hospice provides Palliative Care to the people of Lanarkshire and operates under the care of the Sisters of Charity. The Hospice is partly funded by Lanarkshire Health Board. From Modest Beginnings of just 4 beds for the terminally ill, St Andrew's now cares for over 120 patients each week in the Hospice with other services reaching more patients and their families across Lanarkshire.
